Twenty years of dedicated service is a significant milestone worthy of recognition. This dedication was honored through the presentation of the 20-Year Satyalancana Karya Satya Award to Martina Uki Emilyasanti, S.I.Pust. The award was presented during the Monthly Friday Gathering (Sarasehan Jumat Awal Bulan) held by the UGM Library and Archives on Friday (September 4) at the BNI Co-Working Space, L7 Building, 1st Floor.
The Satyalancana Karya Satya is an honorary award conferred by the President of the Republic of Indonesia upon Civil Servants (PNS) in recognition of their loyalty, dedication, honesty, and discipline in carrying out their duties in service to the state. The award also recognizes an employee’s consistency and dedication in fulfilling their responsibilities throughout their years of service.
Head of the UGM Library and Archives, Arif Surachman, SIP., MBA., stated that the award serves as an appreciation for the recipient’s years of service and as motivation to continue making meaningful contributions.
“This award serves as motivation to continue giving our best in carrying out our duties,” said Arif.
The presentation of the Satyalancana Karya Satya Award to Martina Uki took place as part of the Monthly Friday Gathering, a regular meeting organized by the UGM Library and Archives to strengthen communication, foster a sense of togetherness, and facilitate the sharing of information and knowledge among staff.
The occasion added particular significance to the gathering. Amid a regular forum that provides an opportunity for staff interaction, the recognition of two decades of service served as a reminder that every individual’s contribution plays an important role in an organization’s journey and continuity.
