Windows of the World (WoW) is a relatively new section in the Library that is intended not only to represent mutual recognition and equal positioning of Indonesia with other countries in the world but also to build national awareness of the importance of nurturing local wisdom and indigenous resources of Indonesia. For this purpose WoW consists of three smaller sections comprising:
- Indonesian Indigenous Resource Center (IIRC) that is meant to function as a show case to introduce richness and unique resources of Indonesia to the world
- Institutional Overseas Corners that function as an annex of UGM overseas partner institutions to promote their countries through various events and activities at other places in the campus
- International Corners are media provided for international organizations such as the World Bank to introduce their worldwide existence and services.
