Ilmu pengetahuan itu untuk masyarakat, demikian ujaran Ir. Koko Widayatmoko, M.Sc., alumnus Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) di hadapan Kepala Perpustakaan UGM, Ibu Nawang Purwanti, M.Lib dan Kepala Sub Direktorat Hubungan Alumni UGM, Dr. Soelistyawati pada hari Senin, 19 Desember 2016. Lulusan Teknik Sipil UGM angkatan 1963 ini, menghibahkan koleksi perpustakaan kecilnya untuk Perpustakaan UGM agar ngelmu adiluhung leluhur tersebut, dapat disebarluaskan kepada generasi masa kini dan masa datang.

Perpustakaan Universitas Gadjah Mada menyambut gembira kedatangan literatur berharga tersebut ke haribaan UGM. “Literatur tersebut akan dialihmediakan dalam bentuk digital, sesuai prioritasnya, agar masyarakat mengetahui keberadaan pustaka penting tersebut,” ujar Ibu Nawang. Literatur tersebut akan menjalani perlakuan yang berbeda berdasarkan identifikasi preservasi yang diperlukan. Beberapa yang secara fisik masih bagus, rencananya akan dilayankan di Perpustakaan Fakultas Ilmu Budaya, sedangkan literatur yang kuna akan dilayankan dalam bentuk digital.

Departeman Bahasa dan Sastra Fakultas Ilmu Budaya, Drs. Suharto Mangkusudarmo, M.Hum., didampingi oleh Sekretaris Prodi Sastra Jawa, Ibu Arsanti Wulandari, S.S., M.Hum., turut bersuka cita dengan hadirnya naskah lama di UGM. Pelaku transliterasi Serat Centhini I & VII ini menyatakan bahwa “Transliterasi naskah lama yang memuat local wisdom tersebut dapat dilakukan secara bersama-sama agar ilmu tersebut tersaji dalam bahasa Ibu kita dan tersampaikan kepada masyarakat luas.”

Pustaka Gondosoeli dari tahun 1838-1956 sebanyak 2.886 judul buku/naskah Jawa Kuno dan 667 judul buku manajemen dan Teknik Sipil telah beralih rumah, dari rak buku di kediaman Romo Koko, demikian beliau biasa disapa, ke rumah barunya di Universitas Gadjah Mada. Mulai dari buku terbitan Bale Poestaka Betawi, Sie Djan Soe, Surakarta, sampai dengan S’Gravenhage Netherland, akan menjadi kekayaan pustaka nusantara bagi Perpustakaan UGM. Mulai dari karya sastra Ardjona Sasrabaoe, Babad Giyanti, Koetha Gedhe, sampai dengan Koetbah Rijaja dan Pranatan Koperasi Kampoeng, bakal melengkapi cerita tentang masalalu di masa kini.

Sebuah kehormatan bagi Universitas Gadjah Mada atas kepercayaan beliau. “Universitas Gadjah Mada adalah rumah yang tepat untuk pustaka yang menyimpan ngelmu adiluhung itu. Semoga masyarakat melalui UGM, dapat menyerap dan menggunakan ngelmu tersebut,” demikian harapan beliau.(Cahya)
